This year the focus of our Alumni event is Perspective: Life After a Law Degree. The event will feature a panel of the following Newcastle Law School graduates who will discuss their career journeys from law student to now:
- Josh Cela - Trainee Solicitor at WardHadaway, Winner of the WardHadaway Scholarship
- Luke Gaskill - SQE Trainee Solicitor at Sweeney Miller, Winner of the Sweeney Miller Scholarship
- Shah Yaseen Ali - Trainee Solicitor at Burnetts; Chair of Convocation Newcastle University; National Members Council Representative Co-op; Non Executive Director Beamish Museum
We will also celebrate the most recent recipients of our Alumni Scholarships, which are funded by our generous alumni community. Student speakers will share with you their experiences of being a Newcastle Law School student and how the scholarship has helped them to realise their full potential.
You’ll also be able to see our newly renovated Law Library/student social space and we will have time for socialising and networking. Drinks and nibbles will be provided.
