Our 2026 Colleague Commuting Survey is now open!
Our 2026 colleague commuting survey is now open for responses!
The survey is a part of a project that is being conducted by the North East Combined Authority (NECA) x Mobilityways to gather data about how our colleagues commute to and from work.
The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete, and the following incentives are available for those who participate:
- A free hot drink from one of the University cafes/ restaurants
- A personal travel plan to understand your commuting options
- Entry into a prize draw to win one of three £50 shopping vouchers
- Entry into a prize draw to win one of two Pop cards with £68 credit which can be used towards travel across the North East Combined Authority area on buses, Metro, Shields Ferry and Northumberland Line
Regardless of how you commute to/ from work or if you work from home, we would greatly appreciate hearing from you. Your responses will contribute to the continued monitoring of carbon emissions that are produced from colleague commutes to and from the University.
