Meet Dinh

Studying in Newcastle

I chose to study in the UK as the education system here is highly regarded, which creates opportunities for finding good jobs after graduation.

Newcastle is a peaceful city, close to the coast, with the historic Newcastle United football team. The university boasts a wealth of educational experience with a strong emphasis on practical application.

I want to run my own company focused on upgrading and improving the transportation system in my country, Vietnam.

The benefits of my degree

My MSc in Transport Engineering, Planning and Management will provide you with extensive knowledge related to the management and planning of transportation systems in developed countries.

""

My favourite aspects of the course

The new technologies in the domain, such as AI and automated vehicles. You can select your desired research topic for your Dissertation and gain a thorough understanding of it.

Money matters

I received a scholarship from the University which helped reduce the financial burden on me and enabled me to focus better on studying.

My future

Studying here provides a comprehensive overview of the industry globally and equips you with the qualifications needed to apply for positions at large corporations working on major projects. I have gained a deep understanding of the industry and the issues that need to be addressed in Vietnam, along with a clearer picture of the question of sustainable transport development in the future.
