Background
Postdoctoral Research Associate in Cystic Fibrosis at Newcastle University, with a focus on understanding premature termination codon (PTC) mutations. Previous research was focused on age-related macular degeneration, including modelling of the outer retina using iPSC-derived RPE cells and decellularised human Bruch’s membrane to investigate complement-based gene therapy approaches.
